As an Appliance Installation Apprentice, you will be responsible for arriving on time and learning installation of major home appliances including dishwashers, ovens, microwaves, refrigerators, ranges, and more. You will also be responsible for communicating well with customers and store associates. This is a full time job that requires strong attention to detail and consistent critical thinking.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Properly handle and install built-in and freestanding home appliances
  • Responsibly drive and maintain a company service vehicle
  • Communicate well with coworkers and customers (we’re in the people business first!)
  • Maintain appliance parts inventory on installation vehicle
  • Be able to lift 75 lbs. or more
  • Working mechanical knowledge, including the use of hand tools and test equipment
  • Flexibility to work variable and flexible hours, including overtime
Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Desire to learn
  • Clean and valid MI Driver's License
  • Prior appliance, HVAC, electrical, or construction experience is a plus
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
